Flow of the Spirit

31 08 2010

Ortberg writes often about “being in the flow of the spirit.”  He talks about this as the key focus of spiritual development in The Me I want to Be.  He writes, “In particular, when we are in the flow of the Spirit, we become increasingly full of the fruit of hte Spirit: ‘love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.’  The best indicator that I am living in the flow is the growth of the fruit.” (42).

What are we doing to facilitate the growth of God’s fruit in our kids?  How do we quantify that growth and what might we do to help facilitate that growth?
